Pure Red Pepper Extract (High Heat) can be used to add heat to a wide range of alcoholic beverages including beer, cider, wine and spirits. Approximately 100,000 Scoville heat units, we recommend a use level of 0.10% to 0.30%, which will impart 100 to 300 Scoville heat units. The average hot sauce with medium heat to high heat is 100 to 150 Scoville heat units. This flavor is TTB approved.
