Pure Bergamot Extract, Natural
Bergamot (Citrus bergamia) is a small citrus fruit, which grows primarily in Southern Italy. The fruit from this cross of a Seville orange and pear lemon is sour and not edible. Bergamot is grown for its essential oil, which is contained in the peel. The oil is used in Earl Grey tea and many popular fragrances. Bergamot is unrelated to the herb of the same name. In alcoholic beverages, we recommend a starting use level of 0.05% to 0.30%. In beer and wine, start at 0.10%
and adjust to taste. In spirits, start at 0.25% and adjust to taste. This flavor is TTB approved.
Pure Bergamot Extract, Natural can be used for baking, beverages (including beer, wine and spirits) & ice cream. Try a few drops in tea to make Earl Grey tea. While bergamot has a beautiful aroma and is perfectly safe when consumed as a flavor, we do not recommend you apply the extract to the skin. Bergamot oil has been linked to photo sensitivity in some people and could cause a skin rash.

Yuzu Extract, Natural
Citrus junos or Yuzu is indigenous to China and is thought to be a cross between a mandarin orange and a grapefruit. The fruit looks like a small grapefruit with an uneven skin. The flavor is described as slightly sweet, and grapefruit-like. It is unusual among citrus plants in being relatively frost-hardy and can be grown in regions with winters at least as low as -9 °C (15 °F). Our Yuzu Extract, Natural can be used in both still and carbonated alcoholic beverages including beer, cider wine and spirits.
