Ube Type Extract, Natural & Artificial (Contains < 0.10% Artificial Top Note) can be used in a range of alcoholic beverages. It has a nutty flavor with a coconut-like background note that nicely compliments beer, cider and many spirits. In low proof applications we recommend a starting use level of 0.20% and adjust to the desired impact is achieved. In high proof spirits start at 0.75%. Our Ube Type Extract, Natural & Artificial (Contains < 0.10% Artificial Top Note) is clear and colorless and does not contain any added purple food coloring. It can be used in conjunction with natural or synthetic water based colors if a deep purple color is desired.
